- I'm an avid deer hunter to be honest I'm addicted to hunting big mature whitetails. I have been hunting for 36 years and have harvested numerous big mature bucks to include 4 scoring over 140 inches. My best buck to date is a 152" 200lb brute I took with my muzzleloader during the 2004 season in Maryland. I strictly harvest does and mature bucks only as you have to pass on the smaller bucks to harvest big mature whitetails. I am addicted to turkey hunting and love bear hunting too. I have harvested five bears and several big tom turkeys. I love to fish too, especially bass fishing and I believe hunting is the purest and most exciting of all sports.
